Music 

The teachers at Great Expectations integrate music into the curriculum every day.  Our various specialists provide an additional musical component to our program on a regular basis.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Several times throughout the year the school takes part in community service projects.  In the past we have participated in food drives, the Arlington Holiday Help Program, and donations to organizations that help children and families in need.  Our small school community of children, parents and staff find helping others a truly rewarding experience.

PIZZA DAY

Pizza Day was started by a parent many years ago.  Each month parents deliver and serve pizza and drinks to the children and staff.

Other Enrichment Programs:

Enrichment programs are scheduled  approximately once a month.  These programs have included: drama productions, puppet shows, animal demonstrations, magicians, dentist,  science programs, etc.  

Spanish & Flannel Stories

Josephine visits each classroom weekly to explore Spanish in a fun, low-key manner and entertain the children with wonderful flannel board stories. 

ANNUAL ART SHOW

For the past several years each class has spent several weeks focusing on different aspects of art and exploring a variety of art materials. A school wide art show is held each spring to display all our work.
